Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Martini

Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Martini

I really love pumpkin bread and pumpkin muffins. They are pretty decent, yeah? But do you know what makes them orgasmic? Adding chocolate chips. Seriously, try it. Don’t even get fancy about it. Go to Trader Joe’s, buy a box of the pumpkin bread mix and when you make it, dump in half a bag of chocolate chips. Everyone will flip the fuck out over it.

Get drunk on your dessert.

So yeah, everyone is making these great, tasty pumpkin pie martinis. I wanted to take it to that next level. So instead of whipped cream vodka which seems to be all the rage, I’m using cookie dough vodka and I threw in some creme de cacao. (You could use any chocolate flavored vodka, but I happened to have a whole bottle of this and I really need to start using it. Why am I a sucker for crap I won’t use?)

Boom. Instead of serving the pumpkin pie martini that everyone else is serving up this fall, break this bad boy out. Cheers!

Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Martini
2 parts pumpkin cream liqueur
1 part cookie dough vodka
1 part Baileys
1 part creme de cacao
whipped cream, cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice and chocolate shavings to garnish.

Dump alcohol and a couple ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Shake gently. Pour into a martini glass and garnish.

Additional garnish suggestion: chunks of festive fall cookies sandwiched with pumpkin cream cheese, skewered on a cocktail pick.
